Each year the Brainerd Lakes Affiliate raises money to apply towards grants with in Aitkin, Cass and Crow Wing counties. These grants support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Vision: a world without breast cancer. THIS YEARS GRANT RECIPIENTS HAVE BEEN SELECTED!

Development of Portable Display to consolidate the entire Breast Health collection, including a kiosk to access Komen.org
Promoting Easy Access to Mammograms, using radio ads and billboards WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN AITKIN, CASS AND CROW WING COUNTIES! Up to 75 percent of each Affiliate's net revenue remains in the Affiliate's service area and is used for breast health programs. The remaining 25% helps fund the highly regarded Komen Foundation's Research and Awards programs. Monies are raised from a variety of awareness and fundraising activities, the primary local event being the signature Susan G Komen Brainerd Lakes Race for the Cure®. |
